I have realized that many things may change, but the personality of God never changes. He is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

He is still as kind, yesterday, today and forever.
He is still as good, yesterday, today and forever.
He is still as merciful, yesterday, today and forever.
He is still my loving Father, yesterday, today and forever.
He is still my closest friend and companion, yesterday, today and forever.

As God had helped me and blessed me so so much in Singapore, he has still been helping me, guiding me, blessing me and challenging me here in Perth. There is truly no place in this world that you can be without His presence.

As each of us follows Him, yes, there is no turning back. But look, as you follow Him, you are following the light. Why go back to the dark when you cannot find your identity and yourself? I have found myself in God and thus, only Him do I trust. One of my favorite verses is when Jesus says, "For whoever desires to find His own life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." (Matthew 16:26)

There are just so many things that I want to share with all of you. But one thing that I feel is of the utmost importance for all of us to be aware of is the submission to the leadership and authority above us. I remember the first time I heard about this. It was a Sat night service by Pastor John Bevere. If you think that this is not in the doctrine, read Romans 13. =) it caused such a deep conviction in my heart that things started to change thereafter. Later on, a leader in church told me that Jesus says that we are to be faithful in three things. Firstly, we are to be faithful to righteousness. Then we are to be faithful to little things. Thirdly, we are to be faithful to another man's dreams. Besides following our senior pastor, actually our cell leaders are the first person we are to be submitted to, amen?

This day is certainly a day that marked a leap to a great difference in my life. People close to me are suddenly miles away from me, geographically. Of course, I believe that people close to me are always close to my heart. No distance can bring that apart.

The thought of leaving my home, beloved church and cell group was sad enough, but the though of leaving alone to a foreign land was daunting. Nevertheless, despite all the apprehension, God has been with me the whole time.

The last parting moments with my family and friends, He was there.
When I was feeling a little lost after going into the departure Hall, He was there.
When I was boarding the plane, He was there.
When I was seated and waiting for the long-delayed flight to take off, He was there.
When I was getting tearful at all the sweet letters that my friends wrote, He was there.
When I was feeling like I just wanted to forget all about it and go right back home, He was there to encourage me to go on.
When I got here, on a foreign land, He is still here.

God had been so good to me, I do not even know where to start. When I first got here, he had opened doors for me, literally. He opened the door of a girl who stays right next to me. This girl is in Year 2 here and she is Tiffany. Together with her boyfriend, Aaron, they have been taking good care of me. Both of them are Christians and they brought me to their church the very next day. I am really really touched as they always refuse to accept thanks from me when they help me. They would brush it off and say "Come on, we are all God’s children right? So we ought to help one another." Wow! Besides that, they have also opened up their social click to me and allowed me to integrate into their click here. Their unselfish love and friendship has really struck a chord in me and I am truly grateful to God for such favor!

P.S.: Thanks all of you who came to the airport early early morning on the 19th. I am really touched to see all of you there. =) Please take good care and be sure that I am there for you, I am only a call away. =) Miss all of you so so much!
